We skipped trying to get fish and chips in Dublin, thinking they might be better in London. To find a a decent, yet reasonable joint we searched guidebooks at a Virginesque media store. Dog and Duck is what we came up with. We shared a large fish and chips (it was still early in our trip = still being cheap). Delicious. Much better than anywhere in the US, except for maybe what you could sometimes get at Chip Shop in Brooklyn.



Two pints as well – Fuller’s London Pride and Landlord Ale (Timothy Taylor). Both pleasing.

A Shitty Attempt at an April Fools Joke

So I was gonna pull an April Fools prank on you all. How nice of me, right? What a jerk. I thought I had a great (good) idea. In a nut shell, my idea was to peal the labels off a couple Saint Arnold DR 11 bottles and place them onto bomber bottles and get the rumor spreading that DR 11 Bombers were available in select locations. HAHA, very funny. I started the process last night, but the execution was poor. The bottles looked shitty. Then I also realized this prank could cause a lot of grief and annoying questions for Saint Arnold. I came to my senses, which was good, because no one would have believed me anyway.

Saint Arnold DR #11 Unleashed Tomorrow

Another Divine Tuesday is happening tomorrow. I had a sample of it Friday. It's really good. I'm thinking it's a 2-3 six pack purchase. BAers are split, a lot of hatin. I guess DIPAs are not special enough to warrant a DR release. Fine, more for us. Reminded me a lot of one of my favorite DIPAs—Great Divide Hercules. Creamy, piney.
