It was not really fair. I had a Cantillon Kriek earlier in the week. Still, this a really good beer. Do they use 100% real cherries? Taste a bit "faked." Best American Kriek I've had, but I have not had a lot.
Not sure what that beer is like (will have to go and check out NXNW), but if it's a cherry beer, you need to try New Glarus Belgian Red. Unfortunately it's only available in Wisconsin, but that just adds a reason to visit the beer scene up there :)
