Pine Belt Pale Ale

So Southern Star's Pine Belt Pale Ale has been out for a bit now. I know some has made it's way to Austin. I am pretty sure Spec's has 4 packs. I need to make it over there today and pick a few up. I have heard some disconcerting things though. BgThang started a thread on beer advocate about Southern Star changing recipes on the Pine Belt. For me this really won't matter considering I never had the original. We'll see.

(picture from www.freetailbrewing.com/blog/)

Freetail Brewing Co. recently received nationwide coverage in an interesting story about alternative business financing. I first saw this on their blog, which has been pretty busy as of late (including pictures of the brewery).
Kevin Brand and (512) Brewing gets some good coverage in the latest edition of Brew's Next...Bock n Ale Ya...whatever they are calling the beer column at the Statesman.

My advice for: Lay off the puns. They are dangerous.
