Euro Beer #37: House Beers

In the fall of 2007 (yeah, I know, OVER 5 years ago, but I am not ending this series until ENDS) my wife and I traveled through Europe for 10 weeks. We ate a lot of food and drank of a lot of beer (and wine). Not enough food, not enough beer. In Annecy still, let's hurry this up and get onto Italy:

 Still biking around town.

This was our last day in Annecy.

Later that night we bought some food to cook at the house and some really cheap, strong beers.

 Forte.

  Omelets!

Drunk on cheap beer we planned our next moves. It was a nice long stay in Annecy, but we were ready to move onto Italy.

Ok, so we did not stay in for long. We went out with our host's daughter. I had a Grimbergen and Sofa had a 1664 Blanc. The 1664 sucked, mine was ok.

The next day I did some yard work for our host. Had to pay our way somehow.

 Sights.

I guess if I am gonna stay up late procrastinating I better at least blog. After our long ride around the lake we decided to relax at our host's place and make dinner. I don't know what these drinks were. I think rum and pineapple juice.

And we made some "Indian" cuisine.

On one of our last days in Annecy we took a ride around the lake.

Saw the sites. Le Brooklyn.

We made a lot of stops. Coffee. Treats. Casino. You name it.

We rode through this. I think. I have no memory of this.

We stopped here for lunch. After we finished eating we realized we had no cash. The town was dead (off season) and we were extremely lucky to find an ATM near by. We were seconds from skipping out...

 The beer was mediocre.

 But the sandwiches were fantastic.

 So euro.

We went to go see some jazz one night and I drank a Heineken. Sofia had nothing. It was really dark.

Red wine for Sofia and I had an Affligem. They were both fine. I mean, how good could they be? But they did the trick.

And then I went skating. I sucked, but at least the scenery was pretty.

Literally across the street from the skatepark. Annecy wins, yr shitty town loses.
