Boulevard's Smokestack series are available in Austin. Have you had 'em yet? If not, what are you waiting for. I actually just got around to trying the Sixth Glass Quad, which is killer. Boulevard's regular lineup is so-so, but if the rest of the Smokestack series are as good as this one.... forget about it. I think I may pick up the whole series for my Thanksgiving trip to Brownsville next week. Better than Tecate, that's for sure.

Yay, another Boulevard convert! I've been drinking Bully beers ever since my Kansas City-born girlfriend (now wife) took me up to Missouri to meet my future in-laws back in the mid-Nineties, and I'm so glad I can finally get their stuff in Texas now.
Now that it's holiday time, try their Nutcracker Ale. And if you can find the Brett Saison (named after former Kansas City Royals baseball star George Brett), my KC beer blogger friends tell me it's magnificent.
